Norwich — The Montshire Museum of Science is offering free admission to furloughed federal employees during the partial government shutdown.

The free admission also applies to federal employees who are currently working without pay, according to a news release. Employees can also bring a guest free of charge. The offer will be open until the end of January.

Workers must be residents of Vermont or New Hampshire and have a valid federal ID.

Current exhibits include “Destination: Space!” and “Making Music: The Science of Musical Instruments.”
