WHITE RIVER JCT., VT — Thomas M. Day, 35, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 21 in White River Jct. He was born July 4, 1983 in Lebanon, NH the son of Michael W. and Elizabeth (Fisk) Day. He received his schooling in Hartford and attended Hartford High School. Tom was employed as a cook at various restaurants throughout the Upper Valley. He enjoyed working with electronics, rebuilding computers and repairing bicycles. Tom was his son, Connor’s hero and was the best Dad ever. He will be remembered as a very giving and loving father, son and brother, and will be terribly missed by his family and all his friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Donald D. Fisk.
Survivors include his only child, Connor M. Day of Vershire, VT, his mother, Elizabeth Day, his father, Michael W. Day, his stepmother Brenda Day, his stepfather, Lawrence Hilliard, all of Windsor, one older brother, Joseph S. Day of Hartford, two sisters, Caitlin J. Perry of Randolph, VT and Michele L. Whitney of Windsor, his maternal grandmother, Donna Fisk of Lyme, NH, two nieces and one nephew, Willow E. Rodewald-Day of Sharon, Abigail K. Perry and Archer R. Perry, both of Randolph, one stepbrother, Chad Morehouse of Newport, NH, two stepsisters, Ellie Sargent of Windsor and Crystal Vandal of Newport, NH, his step grandfather, Edson Pierce of Brownsville, VT, his former girlfriend and son’s mother, Jessica Lyn Bebee of Vershire, and one brother in law, Brent Perry of Randolph.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 12 at 11:00 at the funeral home. Pastor Sally Ann Silfies will officiate. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Hotel Coolidge. Committal services will be held in the spring.
