CLAREMONT, NH — David G. Ricker, 61, of Park Avenue in Claremont, NH died Sunday (December 16) at his home following a period of failing health. He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on February 11, 1957 the son of John W. and Jean (Pushee) Ricker and had been a longtime Claremont resident. He was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1976. David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed farming as a child then went on to be employed by Dartmouth Woolen Mill, Claremont Paper Mill and Split Ball bearing which later became Timken Aerospace where he retired from after 28 years. David enjoyed motorcycling and keeping up the family property. Members of his family include two daughters, Heather J. Greene and her husband, Harry, Newport, NH; Stephanie L. Bergeron and her husband, Kenny, Claremont, NH four grandchildren, Makayla, Rileigh, Hunter and Malcolm, two sisters, Kathie Powers and her husband, Duane, Plainfield, NH; Karen Gould and her husband, Thomas, Newport, NH and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Roy Funeral Home on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Allen Burns of the Christ Community Church in Plainfield, NH, officiating.
