The Big Gren jumped out to a big first-quarter advantage and used that foundaiton to grab a 59-46 win over Fairfield on Sunday afternoon at Leede Arena. Dartmouth leveled its overall record at 4-4 while improving to 4-0 in contests played in New England — three at home along with a Nov. 11 victory at Vermont.
Isalys Quinones led the way for Dartmouth with 18 points, four rebounds and two steals. Elle Louie was the only other member of the Big Green in double figures, coming off the bench to score 10 points. Cy Lippold finished with eight points and three assists, while Kealy Brown and Katie Douglas each had six points for the Big Green.
The Big Green plays its third straight home game on Wednesday when UMass Lowell visits Leede.
Andover 66, KUA 63
Wellesley, Mass. — The Wildcats (4-1) struggled on offense, scoring just 18 first-half points in a loss to Phillips Andover at the Scholar Roundball Classic at Babson College.
Enoch Cheeks led KUA’s second-half comeback, finishing with 29 points. Jay Elmore and Jammy Pierre-Louis added 10 each for the Wildcats, play in the Rivers Holiday Tournament this weekend.
Websterville 60, MVCS 48
Websterville, Vt.
Josh King paced MVCS with 17 points. Dylan Patel followed up with 14 points, and junior Hunter Cooper contributed a career-high nine points for the Eagles.
Mid Vermont opens its home schedule on Monday against Concord Christian.

Benson scored unassisted, while Flanagan converted a pass from Bella Parento for her goal. Shannon Moran stopped 19 shots in the Kimball Union goal.
KUA (2-1-1) heads to the Dexter-Southfield Tournament in Massachusetts this weekend.
