LEBANON, NH — Katherine E. Trench, age 86, passed away peacefully after a short illness from leukemia on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care with her children at her side. She was born in West Lebanon, NH on July 2, 1932 to the late Annie (Leamond) and Frank Sanders, Sr. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School. She married her late husband, Arthur Trench, Sr., November 9, 1954 in Enfield, NH. They were married for 32 years. As well as being a “Mom”, she owned and operated along with her husband, Arthur, the Sea Grill Restaurant located in West Lebanon for many years. She then managed a retail bakery until her retirement. Katherine enjoyed cooking and baking, reading, card games, crafting, was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, and loved to vacation in Maine. She was well known for her kindness and her wonderful sense of humor. Her greatest joy was loving and spoiling her family.

Kay is survived and loved by her children, Jayne Trench of Lebanon, Joseph Trench of Enfield, Susan Trench of Waitsfield, VT, Karen Lewis of Concord; several brothers and sisters, Frank (Madelyn) Sanders, Jr. of Lebanon, Martha Frappier of Penacook Path, Margaret Sanders of Salem, and James Sanders; and many much beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Kay was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; her brother, Joseph Sanders; sister, Mary Dickerson; nephew, Tad Sanders; and brother-in-law, Ray Frappier.

Katherine has requested no services and no public burial.
