LEESBURG, FL — Thomas Michael “Tom” Monmaney, Sr., 62, passed away November 20, 2018. He was born July 2, 1956 in Brattleboro, VT to Harry William and Doris Benware Monmaney. Tom was co owner of Monmaney Master Painters with his father Harry and a member of GraceWay Church in Leesburg, FL. He loved swimming in his pool, races, tractor pulls and riding around in his golf cart but his greatest joy was found in his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include: his wife who he adored for the entirety of their 44 year marriage, Karen of Leesburg; sons: Thomas, Jr and wife Shelly of Sioux Falls, SD, James and wife Melissa of Tavares, Christopher and wife Laura of Astatula, Michael and wife Kim of Tracy, MN; daughter, Kimberly Monmaney of Leesburg; grandchildren: Kristen, Paul, Brianna, Bailey, Meagan, Selena, Melanie, Johnathan, Patrick and Tiffani; great grandson Zakai; 3 siblings: Harry William III, Anthony and Bruce as well as other extended family including nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Keith and grandchild Faith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 1 at 2:00pm at GraceWay Church, 10200 Morningside Drive, Leesburg, FL with Pastor Bill Birdsall officiating.
