Bracken, combined with two assists, currently leads the Big Green with seven points. Freshman Lotti Odnoga picked up her team-leading fourth helper and classmate Chloe Puddifant had her first collegiate assist in the loss.
Dartmouth senior goaltender Christine Honor made 20 saves. Sophomore Kayla Wormsbecher stopped five shots in the final 12 minutes of the third period.
Maine took a 3-1 lead into the third, breaking a 1-1 tie four minutes into the second period.
The Big Green fell to 2-6-1; Maine improved to 8-6-1. The teams will return to the ice at 2 p.m. today.
San Francisco 84, Dartmouth 65
San Francisco, Calif.
Dartmouth (3-3) turned an eight-point halftime deficit into a three-point deficit in the first minute of the second half. San Francisco (6-0) responded with a 15-0 run to put the game out of reach.
Frankie Ferrari led the Dons with a season-high 19 points, hitting 8-for-16 from the floor, including a trio of 3-pointers. He also dished out seven assists to lead three USF players in double figures. Matt McCarthy had a double-double off the bench with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Charles Minland scored 14 points. The Dons shot 49.3 percent (33-for-67) overall and a robust 44 percent (11-for-25) from the perimeter.
Knight scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half for the Big Green, keeping Dartmouth within striking distance. Sophomore Adrease Jackson chipped in 13 points, including going 3-for-5 from downtown, while leading Dartmouth with seven rebounds. Freshman Taurus Samuels hit double figures for the first time in his career with 10 points in 15 minutes off the bench.
Dartmouth will fly to Ireland on Monday night to play in the Belfast Classic on Nov. 29-30; First up for the Big Green will be Marist (1-3) on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
Middle Tennessee 70, Dartmouth 58

Paula Lenart had a career-high 14 points in the loss, pulling down seven rebounds. Kealy Brown finished the game with seven points and four rebounds for Dartmouth, which fell to 2-1.
“We knew that Middle Tennessee was going to bring physicality and pressure and I give credit to them,” Dartmouth head coach Belle Koclanes said. “They have all the components you need to be a good team.”
The Big Green trailed, 34-28, at halftime. Middle Tennessee (4-2) ended the game on a 14-8 run.
Dartmouth takes on UC Santa Barbara in the second game of the Lady Rebel Round-Up at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas at 3 p.m. today.
