Wells River, Vt. —
Born Sept. 25, 1933, in Thetford, Vt.; she was the daughter of Marcellas and Nettie (Waterman) Wheelock. She attended schools in Thetford, Vermont.
On Oct. 25, 1952, in Newbury, Vt. she married Richard Emerson of Wells River. After their marriage, she and her husband lived in Corinth, Vt.
Mrs. Emerson had worked babysitting, and for a few years at the Fairlee Drive In Theater in Fairlee, Vt.
She is survived by her husband Richard Emerson of Wells River; one son, Stewart Emerson and wife Barbara of Woodsville, N.H.; two daughters, Barbara Hatch of North Haverhill, N.H. and Debra Carbee and husband Bill of North Haverhill; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Raymond, Dorman, Linwood Wheelock; and a sister Evelyn Wheelock.
Graveside funeral services will be private at the East Corinth New Cemetery, East Corinth, Vt. There are no calling hours.
