Laconia, N.H. — Evelyn Pearl Morin, 97, of Girard Street, died on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the Epsom Health Care Center, Epsom, N.H.

Being a lifelong resident, Evelyn was born on Jan. 3, 1921, in Laconia to the late Joseph A. and Laura (Picard) Theberge.

Evelyn was a parishioner of St. Andre Bessette Parish and was very active in her community being a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Ladies of the Sacred Heart, Library Friendship Club, caller of bingo for the Catholic Daughters of America at the St. Francis Home and she was a volunteer for the American Red Cross blood bank.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Lorenzo Joseph Morin; two daughters, Laura Morin Cooney and Alice L. Morin; three grandchildren, Scott David Cooney, Brett Patrick Cooney, and Adam Todd Cooney; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Lorenzo Joseph Morin; daughter, Louise Evelyn Morin; and four sisters, Isabelle Deblois, Blanche Marquis, Winifred Nadeau, and Doris Hickey.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at St. Andre-Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave Laconia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hour at 9 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at St. Andre-Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
