The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeana and Peter Newbern, of Newbury, N.H. She graduated from Kearsarge Regional High School in North Sutton, N.H., in 2012 and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, in 2016. She is employed as a third grade teacher for the Norfolk Public Schools in Norfolk.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Carolyn and Raymond Kershaw, of Springfield, N.H. He graduated from Kearsarge Regional High School in 2012 and earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Colby-Sawyer College in 2016. He earned a master’s degree in athletic training from Old Dominion University in Norfolk in 2018 and is employed as an athletic director for Norfolk Public Schools.
The couple plan a June wedding at Dowds’ Country Inn and Event Center in Lyme.
