Vermont Law School Hosts Vt. State’s Attorneys Candidate Forum

South Royalton — The ACLU of Vermont and the Vermont Law School Center for Justice Reform are co-sponsoring a candidate forum for Vermont state’s attorney candidates on Thursday in South Royalton.

The event will take place at The Chase Center at Vermont Law School, 164 Chelsea St., in South Royalton, from 6:15-8:30 p.m.

Each of the state’s attorney candidates running in a contested race has been invited to the forum to address a range of criminal justice issues impacting Vermont communities. This year there are five counties with contested elections for state’s attorney: Addison, Bennington, Essex, Lamoille and Orleans. At the forum, the public will learn about the candidates from these counties and their views in advance of the Aug. 14 primaries.

The forum will also be streamed live at: vermontlaw.edu/live. For more information, contact Robert Sand at rsand@vermontlaw.edu.
