Interim Principal Announced for Thetford Elementary School

Thetford — Colin McLaughlin, a sixth-grade teach at Thetford Elementary School, has been appointed interim principal of the school effective Wednesday. 

“Colin’s familiarity with the culture and expectations of Thetford will serve him well in his new role,” said Shannon Darrah, chairwoman of the Thetford School Board.

McLaughlin will be entering the principal certification program through Upper Valley Educators Institute to gain his principal certification in Vermont. The search for a permanent principal for the elementary school is ongoing, Darrah said.
