In her role, Gosselin directs and coordinates radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures, oversees staff in the operation of imaging equipment, supports patient care by resolving radiology issues with staff members and maintains quality assurance in a safe environment.
“Sara’s eagerness to train, motivate and encourage students and staff in mammography, radiography and computed tomography provides a comfortable and nourishing learning environment,” Terri DeMond, director of ancillary services, said in a news release.
DeMond said that Gosselin, who has worked at Mt. Ascutney since 2010, is approachable and always willing to help her colleagues.
“Her smile and uplifting personality bring a fresh ray of sunshine to the Radiography Department each morning,” DeMond said.
Gosselin, who lives in Hartland, has volunteered to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer education, research, prevention and treatment as a co-organizer of the National Denim Day fundraiser at Mt. Ascutney.
