Born on March 5, 1940, in Montpelier, Vt. was the son of Harold O. Pratt and Reba Lamell Carlson. Graduated from Montpelier High in 1958, entered the United States Air Force on Aug. 20, 1958, served as an Air Policeman until May 17, 1963, and spent three months in the Air Force Reserve, honorably discharged on Aug. 19, 1963.
Drove truck for Work Brothers out of S. Barre for about 13 years, joined Kenco Inc. out of Barre and later E. Barre as Sales Representative in 1975, retired after 30 years in 2006.
Since then spent summers in Vt., enjoying hunting, fishing, and gardening, and a few months in the winter in Fla., belonging to the shuffle league at Palm Tree Acres in Zephyrhills, Fla.
Survivors are his wife of 33 years, Angelika Y. Pratt; son, Kenneth Jr. and wife Lisa; daughter, Pamela, stepdaughter, Violetta and husband Leighton; stepson Kevin and wife Deana; stepsister Kathleen and spouse, Alicia; stepbrother, David and partner, Nikki; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial with military honors will be held at Worcester Mountain Cemetery in Worcester, Vt. on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 1 p.m.
