Wilder, Vt. — Norman MacDonald, 84, passed away Tuesday June 26, 2018 at the Jack Byrne center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Patterson, N.J. to the late Gordon & Eugenia (Brizzolari) Mac Donald. Norman grew up in Wayne, NJ and graduated from Pompton Lakes High School, class of 1952. He then enlisted with the Army serving for a period of time. He owned and operated the Peddler’s Attic in Quechee, Vt. for several years. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, old cars and gardening.

He is survived by his daughter Linda Jones (Barry) of Springfield, Vt. and a son James MacDonald (Michelle Lague) of Greenfield, Mass., two Brothers Douglas and Arthur MacDonald, four grandchildren John, Danielle, Elizabeth and Zachary, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Shadow.

He was predeceased by his sister Jean and a brother Gordon.

There will be no calling hours, family and friends are invite to Norman’s life celebration at North Hartland Lake Beach, lower shelter on Monday, July 30 between 3 p.m.-8 p.m.
