Charlestown
Police say an unidentified white man entered the bank on Main Street around 3:40 p.m., and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
He put the cash into a “unique pink and gray reusable type grocery bag with a floral design on the bottom of it,” Charlestown police said in a news release posted on its Facebook page.
A Charlestown dispatcher on Wednesday said the department had nothing new to report.
The man, who is estimated to be between his late 20s to early 30s, did not display a weapon. No one was hurt.
He stands between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs roughly 140 to 160 pounds. He has a short beard and mustache, according to the release.
