White River Valley Supervisory Union Announces Summer Meal Program

Royalton — The White River Valley Supervisory Union is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, providing free breakfasts and lunches throughout the summer for children 18 and under. 

Meals will be served on weekdays at the following locations on a first-come, first-serve basis: Bethel Elementary School, 273 Pleasant St., from June 26-Aug. 4; Chelsea Elementary School, 6 School St., from July 3-Aug. 4; South Strafford’s Newton Elementary School, 243 Route 132, from July 3-28; Sharon Elementary School, 75 Route 132, from June 26-Aug. 4; South Royalton Elementary School, 223 S. Windsor St.,from June 26-Aug. 4; and Stockbridge Elementary School, 2933 Route 107, from July 3-28. 

Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Bethel, Newton, Sharon and South Royalton, and from 9:15-9:45 a.m. at Chelsea and Newton. Lunch is served at all sites from 12-12:30 p.m., except on field trip days (most Fridays). There are no meals on July 4.
