Enfield — Chelsea Lynn Hammond, of Enfield, and Grant David Simpson, of Norwich, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Erin and Christopher Hammond, of Enfield. She graduated from Mascoma Valley Regional High School in Canaan in 2012 and is employed as an accounting and payroll specialist in Wilder.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Diane Amme, of Norwich, and Robert Simpson, of Braintree, Vt. He graduated from Hanover High School in 2009 and is the owner of Amp’d Electrical Solutions LLC in East Thetford.

The couple plan an October wedding in Braintree.
