Barnard, Vt. — Vivian A. (Ward) Webster, 77, died at her home early Friday morning, May 25th surrounded by her family. Vivian was born on Sept. 19, 1940 in Barnard, the daughter of Lee and Gertrude (Dartt) Ward. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Vernley (Sonny), and Victor (Ted) Ward of Barnard and her sister Eleanor Tatro also of Barnard. She was also predeceased by her son Jeffrey and the love of her life Roger S.

She is survived by her four sons Grayling of Royalton, Rock (Penny) and Lance of Barnard and  Roger(Stephanie) of Colchester; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ralph and sister Leona of Barnard, as well as dozens of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 2nd at 11 a.m. in The Methodist Cemetery on the North Road in Barnard. A memorial gathering will take place at the Barnard Town Hall immediately following the graveside service. There will be no calling hours. It is suggested that those of you that can attend wear bright colors as Vivian loved bright vibrant colors especially in Springtime.
