Randolph, Vt. — Kent  Dale Swift, 57, of Pleasant Street, and formerly of Hanover, N.H., died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at his home.

He was born in Riverside, Calif., Dec. 30, 1960, a son of Frederick W. and Earlah C. (Hayes) Swift, and graduated Hanover High School Class of 1979. Kent has lived in Randolph for several years and has enjoyed fishing. He will be remembered as a generous, caring individual.

He was predeceased by his mother Earlah (Hayes) Swift on May 15, 2003.

Survivors include his father, Frederick W. Swift of Alpine, Texas, and Wilder, Vt; his siblings Scott Swift of Rennick, W.V., Fiona Barr of West Lebanon, N.H., Shelley Moore of Lebanon, N.H., and Shawn Pelfry of Clovis, N.M.; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside burial service will be on Wednesday, May 30, at 10 a.m. at the Lime Kiln Cemetery, Newbury, Vt.
