Milton, Vt. —
Philip was born on Oct. 24, 1947, in Claremont, N.H., the son of Homer and Katherine (Temple) Welch.
Philip worked as a plumber in northern Vermont eventually working for the UVM Medical Center. He was a member of the Model Train Club in Milton and enjoyed helping his many friends in the area.
Philip is survived by his son, Philip E. “PJ” Welch, Jr. and his wife, Sheryl; his sister, Peggy Welch; and a brother, Richard Welch.
A memorial service will be held at the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, Vt., on Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
