Habitat for Humanity Accepting Applications for Lebanon Home

Lebanon — The Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity, whose mission is to provide and build safe, affordable homes for those who could otherwise not afford to purchase one, is accepting applications for homeownership of an existing 3-bedroom home in Lebanon.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be a resident of the Upper Valley for at least one year; currently be living in inadequate or substandard housing; be unable to access conventional bank financing; have a family income between 30 – 80 percent of county median income (typically $30,000 – $60,000); be willing to provide 500 hours of sweat equity on a Habitat project; be able to afford zero-interest mortgage; and commit to responsible home ownership and to an ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
