White River Junction
Hosted by Windsor County Partners at the VFW in White River Junction, the $20 admission fee supports child-and-adult mentorships throughout the county.
“This is the inaugural dance,” said Sue Lee, a member of the Windsor Country Partners Resource Committee. The organization has had other fundraisers including galas and wine tastings, but decided to host a dance for a change of pace. “We’re hoping it’s successful so we can continue to do it.”
In addition to dancing to music from DJ Rick Davis, attendees can purchase raffle tickets to play carnival games that could lead to prizes donated by area businesses.
While masks are optional, there will be a prize awarded for the best one. People must be 18 years and older to attend. There will be snack and a cash bar.
