Grafton, N.H. — Mrs. Virginia “Ginny” Elizabeth (Brightman) Sliker, of Grafton, NH, age 72, passed away at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, after a brief but determined battle with leukemia. Originally from Pleasant Grove, N.J., she was born on Aug. 19, 1945, to the late Ruth Brightman and the late Walter Brightman.

Virginia was the loving wife of Glenn Sliker. She is survived by her sons, Clint Sliker and Thor Sliker; brothers, John Brightman, David Brightman, and Theodore Brightman; and sisters, Carol Brightman Eggert and Margaret Brightman Reihmer. She loved her family and friends, worrying about them throughout her illness. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed the outdoors. A caring, beautiful woman, Ginny will always be loved and missed terribly.

Memorial services will be scheduled in both New Hampshire and New Jersey later this Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society made in her memory.
