Food Safety Class Comes to Sunapee

Sunapee — A Safety Awareness in the Food Environment (S.A.F.E.) class will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at the Sunapee Middle High School, 10 North Road in Sunapee.

The two-hour class, taught by Mary Saucier Choate, UNH cooperative extension field specialist, will review critical food safety and sanitation concepts such as personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination and controlling time and temperature. The course provides food safety training for new employees and refresher information for more experienced staff. Participants receive a certificate of attendance.
