Corinth — Voters approved a 2.2 percent increase in spending, passing a $405,653 general fund and $758,825 highway fund budget at Town Meeting Tuesday morning.

They also agreed to create a reserve fund for the replacement of computer equipment in the town office, using $7,500 in general fund surplus.

In balloted voting, Selectboard Chairman Chris Groschner was unopposed for a three-year term, and Neysa Russo was unopposed for a one-year term as treasurer to replace longtime incumbent Susan Fortunati.

The one contested race saw Lister Karen Galayda turn back a challenge from Michael Tkac, 92-53.
