Ann grew up and lived in both North and South Jersey-a real Jersey Girl. She graduated from Our Lady of Good Council High School in Newark, N.J. She recently moved to Woodstock to be closer to two of her daughters.
Ann was known for her sense of humor, her dance talent, singing and was an amazing seamstress.
Ann is predeceased by her husband Eugene DeMartin, and longtime companion John Bushko, her granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Brummer, and her sister Margaret McGuigan.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Elizabeth (Thomas) Gross, Hilton Head, S.C., Marguerite (James) Stavish, Woodstock, Christine (Steven) Gex, Strafford, Vt., Charles DeMartin, Salisbury, Md.; nine loving grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as her brother Harry Hoffman; and sister Jane (Joseph) Watters.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a time of remembrance at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Additional visiting will be on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
