Knight waived his appearance at his arraignment in Claremont District Court scheduled on Monday.
Knight was a family practice physician in Claremont and was fired by the hospital in June, one month after he surrendered his medical credentials after he revealed a sexual relationship with a patient in a filing with the state licensing board.
According to court documents, the alleged assault occurred between Oct. 27 and Nov. 20 in 2016. The criminal investigation began soon after the state Board of Medicine suspended Knight’s license in September
Knight remains free on $25,000 personal recognizance.
Documents make reference to two inappropriate relationships with patients, one at Valley Regional Hospital and the other at Elliot Primary Care in Londonderry, N.H., in 2013-14.
