Randolph, Vt. — Kenneth E. Perkins, 89, of Windover Residential Care Home, passed away on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017.

Born Aug. 7, 1928, he was the son of Ralph W. and Myrtle (Austin) Perkins. He attended school in East Brookfield.  Following school, he was employed as a farm hand on the Wallace Austin and Beatrice Martin farm. He attended the East Brookfield Congregational Church in his younger years. In young adulthood he enjoyed playing board games like Monopoly, Parcheesi, Bingo and Yahtzee with family and friends.

In 2000 he went to live at Windover House in Randolph. He lived there for the last 17 years and was very happy and content. He always kept in contact with friends and relatives thru exchange of birthday and Christmas cards.

Survivors include his sisters, Eugenia Greco of Hamden, Conn., and Aileen Peake and her husband, Jim of Northfield; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Keith Perkins and his sister, Vivian Perkins.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at the East Brookfield Congregational Church later to be announced. Interment will be in the East Brookfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
