Enfield, N.H., —
John was an intelligent, good-humored person. He loved nature, enjoying the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and hiking. He also enjoyed reading and traveling. It was his deep interest in Philosophy and different cultures that led him to travel to countries on four continents. He hiked all 4,000 foot peaks in New Hampshire and had the opportunity to hike some of the lower trails on Mt. Everest.
He met Jingsong Zhao (Rose) in 2003 and they married in 2008. They made their home in Enfield.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Polinski; five siblings, Anne Bussiere of Haddam, Conn.; Mary Polinski (Jerry Burgan) of Pembroke, N.H.; Thomas Polinski of Grantham, N.H.; Catherine Polinski of Canaan, N.H.; and Elizabeth Dyke (Charles Nix) of Claremont, N.H.; a niece, Elizabeth Holloway; two nephews, Jeremiah Holloway and George Dyke; and a great nephew, Anthony Holloway.
John is predeceased by his father, Edward S. Polinski; his mother, Julia F. (Holmes) Polinski; his brother, Edward H. Polinski; and his only child, Aaron W. Polinski.
Family and friends are invited to John’s calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory in Lebanon on Monday, Dec.11 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. John’s funeral will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Committal prayers will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lebanon, N.H.
