On the other end of the ice, Bobcats netminder Andrew Shortridge stopped 27 in collecting his fourth career shutout.
The scoreless tie was the first for Dartmouth (2-6-1, 2-4-1 ECAC) since Nov. 6, 2010, when James Mello turned aside 37 against Union.

Clark bounced back in a big way from a less-than-stellar performance Friday night, when he was pulled at Princeton in a 9-2 loss.
“It’s a tough turnaround in 24 hours from our game last night to tonight,” Clark said in a news release. “The guys in front of me were blocking a ton of pucks, especially on the penalty kill and they still managed to get 40-plus shots on net. So it’s a good feeling to contribute.”
In just his fifth career start, Clark made tough shots look routine and the impossible look possible, all while exuding confidence and an aura of calmness.
The Big Green had lost the previous eight games inside Quinnipiac’s home rink dating back to a 2010 playoff series prior to Saturday’s draw. Included in that stretch were a pair of overtime defeats in 2012-13 and 2014-15.
The Bobcats were 0-for-5 on the power play, while the Green was 0-for-4.
The Big Green is back in action next Saturday night at home against non-conference Bentley. The team will also host its Skate With the Big Green the following afternoon. In both instances, fans can bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

Crumpton was 9 of 13 from the field and 3 of 5 from 3-point range for the Golden Griffins (4-4), who have won three of their last four.
The Big Green (2-3) had an 8-0 run to cut a 16-point deficit down to 65-57 with 1:26 left. But Canisius made all eight of its free throws from there to seal the victory.
Canisius never trailed after taking a 15-14 lead and went in front for good at 35-32 on Malik Johnson’s 3-pointer late in the first half after Dartmouth tied it at 32. Crumpton added 3s on both sides of the intermission to push the lead to 41-32 and the Griffins extended to their largest lead at 65-49.
Takal Molson added 12 points and Malik Johnson scored 11 for Canisius.
Taylor Johnson led the Big Green with 13 and Chris Knight scored 12.

Patrick Coffey scored 14 points for the Chargers, while freshman Austin Boudreau chipped in 12 points off the bench.
The Chargers will host Castleton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Trailing 45-40 after three quarters, Dartmouth outscored the Red Foxes 20-6 the rest of the way.
Kate Letkewicz added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Big Green, which shot 36.5 percent (19-for-52) from the field. Dartmouth’s Olivia Smith scored 10 points, and Cy Lippold dished out five assists.
Alana Gilmer led Marist with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Maura Fitzpatrick added 10 points.
The Big Green will return to action at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, when New Hampshire comes to town.

Big Green goalie Christine Honor made 39 saves in a rematch from Oct. 27, when Honor broke the NCAA saves record with 61 in Dartmouth’s 1-0 win.
Abbie Ives made six saves for the Bobcats.
Big Green Continues Big Al Invite

Seeded first in the 100 fly heading into finals following a strong swim in the morning (54.30 seconds), Li held on to win with a time of 54.11, breaking the Dartmouth record of 54.66 from 2011 and then breaking her own record at night.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Summer Martin was seventh, and Mackenzie Stumpf placed sixth in the A final of the 100-yard breaststroke.
The Dartmouth men moved up to seventh place with 159 points, sitting 14 points ahead of Rider.
Connor LaMastra was first in the B final and ninth overall in the 400-yard IM.
In diving, the Big Green’s Justin Sodokoff was third on the 3-meter board, while AJ Krok was fifth. Ray Neistat placed 12th in the morning (227.75). Combined, the three divers earned 42 points toward the team’s total.
The Big Green was fifth in the 800-yard free relay.
Big Green Senior In World Cup Event

A first-team All-American in the giant slalom at last year’s NCAA Championship by placing third, McLaughlin has kept busy since the last carnival season concluded. In March, he skied in the Nor-Am Cup in Quebec and finished ninth in the giant slalom. One week later, McLaughlin claimed fourth in the event at the U.S. National Championships, then won an FIS GS race at Stoneham, Quebec.
At the end of August, McLaughlin competed at the Australian New Zealand Cup, where he finished as high as ninth in the giant slalom. Just before Thanksgiving, he skied in the GS at the Nor-Am Cup at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado, taking fifth on the first day and 10th the next.
Earlier this season, Dartmouth All-American Foreste Peterson made her World Cup debut in Austria.
The first run of the giant slalom will begin at 11:45 a.m., with results available on the FIS website (fis-ski.com).
Geraghty-Moats Starts Season

The 24-year-old flew 73 meters with her qualification jump and earned 77.8 points for her effort, placing her 52nd out of 61 competitors. The top 30 advanced to the two-jump final on Saturday, which was won by Germany’s Katharina Althaus.
Geraghty-Moats is competing for the first time since breaking her forearm in a fall during summer jump training. She’s among four Americans hoping to earn spots for the United States at February’s Olympic games in South Korea.
The season continues today on Lillehammer’s 138-meter hill, although Geraghty-Moats isn’t in the field for that competition.

In a defensive battle, KUA took a 31-20 lead at the half, and gradually built it from there.
Will Engelhardt (13 points), Nick Timberlake (12) and Eze Dike (12) also reached double figures for the Wildcats, who visit Phillips Exeter on Wednesday.
