Robert “Bob” E. Ainslie Sr.

Enfield, N.H. — Robert “Bob” E. Ainslie Sr., 83, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017. He was born in Cohasset, Mass. to the late Sherwood & Isabele (DeMello) Ainslie. Bob enjoyed work and was proud of his trade as a millwright and craftsman. Later in life he enjoyed working in his shop on small projects and building replica model homes with the greatest detail.

Bob was married to Shirley Thompson for 25 years and later married Joyce Holland Lawn, they spent 40 happy years together

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ainslie; four children, Robert (Robb) Ainslie Jr. & wife, Patti., Shelia St. Aubin & husband, Scott, Douglas Ainslie, and Robbin Lee Umana; also, two stepchildren, Robert Lawn Sr. and Richelle Lawn; two brothers, Sherwood Ainslie Jr. & wife Cora., and Richard Ainslie & wife Gerry; many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a stepson, Russell Lawn Jr.; a sister, Shirley Tibbets; and brother, John (Jack) Ainslie. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to Bob’s memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, N.H. Immediately after services there will be a reception at The Lebanon American Legion Post #22 189 Mechanic St. Lebanon, NH 03766
