Grantham, N.H. —
He was born in New York City, N.Y. on April 24, 1924, the son of Jack and Beatrice (Simon) Goring.
He graduated from Yale and worked his whole career for Saks Fifth Avenue retiring as Senior Vice President of Jewelry and Accessories.
Mr. Goring had been a member of Century Country Club in Purchase, N.Y. for over 50 years before moving to Eastman in Grantham in 2001.
He played golf and tennis until late in life, loved living at Eastman and took courses through AIL and OSHER “to improve his mind”.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Hudson) Goring of Grantham; a son and his wife, Paul and Lisa Goring of Long Island, N.Y.; two daughters, Katie O’Reilly and Maggie Goring both of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren and three stepchildren.
There will be no service.
