Lebanon, N.H. — Richard “Dick” Brann, 90, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. He was born to the late Arthur & Gladys (Nash) Brann. Dick attended schools in Lebanon and enlisted at age 17 in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Following his discharge from the military he returned home and began working for Winona Dairy delivering milk. In 1950 he married Lucille Maville. He later began working for Granite State Electric and after 38 years of dedicated service he retired. Both Dick and Lucile enjoyed square dancing and belonged to Twin State Squares. Dick was also a member of the American Legion Post 22. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and tinkering on small engines. Time spent with his family was most important to Dick especially with his two granddaughters who gave him the name Pa.
Dick was predeceased by his wife Lucille and a sister Gloria. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Fiori and her husband John of Lebanon, a son Eric Brann and his wife Kristina of Plainfield, N.H., two granddaughters Chelsea Brann of Burlington, Vt. and Abigail Brann of Plainfield, NH.
There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to Dick’s graveside service on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery in Lebanon.
