Hartland — A 26-year-old Windsor man has been charged with grossly negligent operation after police say he rammed his vehicle into another during a road rage incident that spanned 10 miles and two towns.

Travis C. Woodbury is scheduled to appear in court next month to answer to charges stemming from the Oct. 23 incident, in which police say another driver, 19-year-old Chace Olmstead, of Reading, Vt., passed Woodbury on Route 44 in Windsor.

In a Friday news release, police said Woodbury followed Olmstead about 10 miles into Hartland. Woodbury stopped in the middle of the intersection of Station Road and Martinsville Road, police said, and waited for Olmstead. When Olmstead’s vehicle pulled up to the location, Woodbury allegedly rammed it twice.

Nobody was injured, but both vehicles sustained damage and had to be towed.

Woodbury is due in court on Dec. 5.
