Hildred “Fern” Marble

White River Junction, Vt. — On Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, Hildred “Fern” Marble, 86, departed this world to God’s waiting arms in heaven at Hanover Terrace. She was born on May 23, 1931, in Bristol, Conn. On May 21, 1953, she married her life love, Roy F. Marble. Together they raised four children.

She is survived by her children, Laura Marble of White River Jct., Roy David Marble of Hebron, Md., Leslie Marble Ashley and her husband, Eugene of Canaan, N.H., Debra Marble Richardson and her husband, Dana of Derry, N.H.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and close family friend Robin Osgood.

The family is asking that those coming to come with an anonymous, no more than four line, memory of Fern, to be placed on memory board.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. A memorial service will follow immediately at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
