QUECHEE, VT — Beth Frances Williams, age 44, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., after being diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer one month earlier. She had remained in the hospital during the entire time, from the date of diagnosis, until her death. She had been battling Lyme Disease for many years prior to her death.

Beth was born in Barre, Vt., a daughter of Kenneth Larry and Lorraine Barbara Williams. She spent most of her life caring for other people.

Beth was married to Rex G. Carr, MD.

Beth enjoyed making jewelry by hand, drawing, and most of all making people feel happy and loved.

She is survived by her husband Rex G. Carr, MD of Quechee, Vt.; her two sons, Dean R. Normandin and Tristan Williams-Higgins both of Quechee, Vt.; her sister, Kimberly Dube of Haverhill, N.H.; her three brothers, Matthew Williams of Lebanon, N.H., Wade Williams of Woodsville, N.H., Steven Williams of Lyme, N.H.; and her mother, Lorraine Williams, of Hartford, Vt.

A celebration of Beth’s life was held on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, Vt.
