Born Aug. 11, 1947, to the late Charles and Mildred (Stanton) Vance in Hanover, N.H.
Edwin was one of seven children. At an early age, he fell in love with a trait that followed him all his life and enjoyed the excitement in startling people. He also enjoyed spending time with his companion Linda Reed for the last 35 years. Together they enjoyed traveling, camping with family and friends, and day long road trips just visiting new places. Edwin also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time.
Edwin is survived by his companion, Linda Reed; son, Todd Vance; daughter, Carla Vance; stepdaughter, Tami Evans and husband Victor; sisters, Linda Dresser and Shirley Picken; and granddaughter, Trisha Vance.
He was predeceased by both his parents, Charles Vance and Mildred (Stanton) Vance; four brothers, Keith Vance, Gary Vance, Sheldon Vance and Kermit Vance.
Following Edwin’s request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
