West Lebanon, N.H. —
Maddie was born on Feb. 5, 1946, in South Barre, Mass. to Santa (Rosselli) and Ignatius Jedetski. She lived in Worcester, Mass. until 1979, when she moved to Lebanon, N.H. with her daughter, Lisa, to be closer to her beloved sister Francine and her family.
Maddie will be fondly remembered for her deep devotion to her family, especially her three grandsons, who were her world. Maddie never missed any of their hockey or lacrosse games and attended all their school events. She was by far, their biggest cheerleader. The Upper Valley hockey community will miss her infectious enthusiasm and love of the sport.
Maddie was a strong, kind and generous soul, whose highly energetic spirit, giving nature, and thoughtfulness were appreciated and admired by many. Maddie’s boundless energy and love of life could be heard in her joyful no holds-barred laugh.
Maddie strived to excel in all areas of her professional life and brought with her an incredibly strong work ethic and professionalism to various jobs in the Upper Valley, earning her the professional and personal respect of all who had the privilege of working with her.
Maddie is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Garabedian) Damren; her son-in-law, Jim; and her three grandsons, Ryan, Nathan, and Aaron. She is also survived by her sister, Francine Vanier; her niece, Christin Vanier and nephew, James Vanier. She was predeceased by her parents; several aunts and uncles; and cousins; as well as her brother-in-law, Bob Vanier.
At the request of Maddie, there will be no calling hours or formal service. A celebration of Maddie’s life will take place on Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter and her family.
For anyone wishing to do so, donations can be made to Bayada Hospice in Norwich, Vt.
