Tilton, N.H. — Howard Glenn Pease, 88, of 139 Winter Street, died Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Concord Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born on April 18, 1929, in Plymouth, the son of the late Glenn and Theda (Howard) Pease. Howard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as the Superintendent of Pheasant Ridge Country Club in Gilford, beginning his 30-year career there when it was the Pleasant View Farm. Howard enjoyed gardening, football and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also loved pets, especially dogs.

He is survived by one son, Richard H. Pease of Laconia; one daughter, Katherine Yeo and her husband, Tom of Tilton; three brothers, Gerald and Francis Pease, both of Orford, N.H., and Arthur Pease of Lebanon, N.H.; four grandchildren, Jared Pease, Brian Yeo, Stephanie Ring and Gail Yeo; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; his former spouse, Barbara Patterson of Laconia, N.H.; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Irene Huntington.

A calling hour will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the East Orford Cemetery in Orford.
