Las Vegas, Nev. —  William N. Cutting, Jr. passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 23, 2017, at home in Las Vegas, where he lived with his brother Arnold Cutting. Billy, as he was called, was born on May 29, 1956 in Claremont, N.H. At the age of eight his family decided to move out west to California and years later finally settling in Las Vegas. in his lifetime Billy loved to go fishing with his brothers and hunting rabbits. He will be remembered for his kind heart and willingness to help others, and his different ways of approaching things that brought a smile to all of us that knew and loved him.

Billy was predeceased by his father William N. Cutting Sr. of Las Vegas.

Surviving family members include his mother, Thelma (Cooper) Cutting of Las Vegas; brothers, Arnold Cutting, Las Vegas, and Gary Cutting and his wife Heather of Milwaukee, Ore.; sisters, Martha (Cutting) Norris of Newport, N.H., Amber (Cutting) Barnette and her husband Richard of Camden, Del., Donna (Cutting) Bettinger and her husband Tim of Boise, Idaho; longtime family friend Janice Glodfelter of Boise; nephews, Rick Mora of Las Vegas, Richard Barnette II and his wife Alyssa of Camden, Del.; niece Dawn Marie Barnette and her longtime boyfriend CJ of Claremont, N.H.; and many other nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will take place at a later date when family members can gather.
