Grantham, N.H. —
She was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on July 29, 1924, to Ruggiero and Mary (Frugoni) Gaio. She grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. She graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing where she met her late husband Kenneth J. Kerwin, MD. They were married for 61 years.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in New London where she was very active in their craft group. She was also a member of an Upper Valley quilting group for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen (Richard) Abbene of Hebron, N.H., Karen (Douglas) Denemark of Tampa, Fla. and Kyna (Greg) Tyndall of Tampa as well as eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Roger (Barbara) Gaio, Rochester, Minn.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in New London on Sunday, June 25 at 3 p.m.
