Royalton, Vt. —
He was born June 18, 1941 in Randolph the son of James F. and Etvi (Haikara) McCullough. David attended Bethel and Royalton schools. Following his education he worked at GE in Rutland for several years. He was married to Judith White November 5, 1960 in Royalton. They moved to E. Hartford, Conn. where he worked at Pratt & Whitney for a short time before moving back to Royalton to work on the family farm. He farmed until 1998 and he also did trucking and excavating. David enjoyed horses and in earlier years hunting. He especially enjoyed story telling.
He is survived by his wife Judith McCullough, 2 daughters; Kimberly Bahr and husband Greg and Tracey Stratton and husband Paul and a son Kris McCullough and wife Kim all of Royalton, 3 brothers; Willo McCullough of Bethel, Frank McCullough of Royalton and Mike Haikara of Bethel, 3 sisters; Mary Vance of N.H., Sophia Taylor and Judy Sanders both of Bethel, 6 grandchildren; Danielle Blodgett, Nicole Manning, Mashia McCullough, Sierra Hein, Tanya Stratton and Kelsey Stratton and 3 great-grandchildren; Quinn Blodgett, Fischer Blodgett and Miles Manning. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother James McCullough.
Graveside services will be held at 11a.m., Wednesday, June 21 in the Hickey Cemetery on the North Road, Royalton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening, June 20 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home.
