Wilder, Vt. — Louise L. Patterson, 78, of Wilder, passed away Friday morning, May 26, 2017, at Brookside Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 1, 1939, in Hanover, N.H., the daughter of Dominic (Minnie) & Madeline (Howland) Regione. Growing up in White River Jct., she attended Hartford School District. In 1956 she married Donald E. Swett and they had five children. She later married John H. Patterson in the summer of 1972 and they spent almost 45 years together. She was previously employed at the Tip Top Bakery in White River Jct., Vt. where she met her husband John. She later worked and retired from Timken Aerospace in Lebanon, N.H. She loved spending time with her family and her many grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping trips to Maine with her husband and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the Claremont Races and was an avid Red Sox and Kenny Rogers fan. She loved her dogs Blitz, Luna and Rocky.

She was predeceased by her parents, her stepson, John Patterson, Jr. and her grandson, Joseph Sylvester.

Survivors include her husband, John H Patterson, Sr. of Wilder; four sons, Everett Swett & his fiancé, Ann Fielder of Norwich, Vt., Donald Swett, Jr. & his wife, Melinda of Hanover, Anthony Swett & his wife, Christina of Plainfield, N.H. and Michael Swett & his wife, Lisa of Lebanon; one daughter, Kathleen Barker & her husband, Stephen of Vershire, Vt.; and two step-daughters, Melissa & Valerie Patterson of Maine; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Powers & her husband, Tom of Wilder; one brother, Michael Regione & his wife, Linda of Fairlee, Vt.; four nieces and one nephew

A visitation will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., Sunday, June 4, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 5 at the funeral home.
