The day includes multiple events, including a five-mile run or walk on the Lake Morey loop road and a one-mile family fun run. Funds raised by the Raptor Run go toward the Rivendell Interstate School District’s involvement in Special Olympics programs.
Race-day registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and is $25 for individuals and $35 for families. The fun run kicks off at 9 a.m., the five-mile race begins at 10 a.m. and the post-race celebration commences at 11 a.m. The entry fee includes post-race food; additional race T-shirts can be purchased for $11.

TSAC Lifting Meet
Lebanon
The meet will consist of competition in the snatch and clean and jerk. Lifting begins at 10 a.m., and the public is invited to attend.
Chargers Sweep Two
Epping, n.h.
The Chargers took a 5-1 win from SU Mariners White on Saturday. Gracie Gamache scored twice, with Lily McVeagh, Elli Stannard and Arwen Clayton providing the others.
LSC added a 1-0 shutout of GPS Maine Phoenix White on Sunday. Gamache netted the match’s only goal in the second half.
Breakers Bag Bugs
Meriden
Kamdyn Aldrich scored the Bugs’ sole marker. Mia Bagnato and Margaret Williams were exceptional in their play, helping LSC stay in the match despite the lack of success at the offensive end of the field.
Sparks Earn Draw
South Hamilton, Mass.
Grace Nostrant converted a penalty kick to get the Sparks started, and Ashley Cotter and Mo McBride also scored for LSC. When the Breakers tried to take over the match late, the Sparks’ Brace Bean, Brielle Fitzpatrick and Emma Powers united to secure LSC’s share of the points.
Comets Eclipse Stars
Lancaster, Mass.
Thatcher Bacon and Ian Surgenor led the offense in the first of the Comets’ two matches of the weekend. LSC came back later in the day to get a 7-4 win over GPS Mass. Boston Elite Blue, as Thomas Bugg, Will Knowles, Roan Palm and Nate Solberg scored in the second half to lock down the victory.
Flames Fall
Epping, n.h.
Behind goalie Logan Isham and back Marcus Wortmann, the Flames trailed only 2-0 at the half before the lack of substitutes took effect. Norwood Davis also played well in net, while Noah Winchester, Kai Kurokawa and David Frechette had solid matches for the Flames.
Force, Fire Earn Victories
Boston
The Force grabbed a 3-1 victory over Valeo FC to stay atop its division. Wyatt Knaus, Gordon Reo (on a penalty kick) and Theo Joseph provided the goals, all in the second half.
The Fire followed suit in Worcester, Mass., grabbing a 4-1 win over NEFC Breakers Elite.
Blast Sinks Admirals
Amesbury, Mass.
Max Ritter kept the Admirals off the board with two early saves before the offense took over. Camden Dwyer opened LSC’s account with a header, followed by two Ryan Oliveira strikes, a Henry Aspinwall solo score and Oliveira’s hat trick goal. Tucker Monson earned two assists, Aspinwall had one and the tandem of Jared Pugh and Simon Amaro anchored the back.
U17 Rush Rolls
Worcester, Mass.
Johnstone scored twice on restarts in the opening eight minutes, heading an Elias Zinman free kick and volleying home a Sam Pych service from midfield. Mason scored twice before halftime, the first on a breakaway feed from Jon Schaefer. Mason completed his hat trick on a Johnstone pass in the second half. Hans Williams made three saves in the LSC net.
U9 Thunder Sweeps
Lancaster, Mass.
The Thunder dropped the GPS North Shore Boys, 4-2, and routed the GPS Mass. Boston Elite White, 9-1. The team is off until playing in the Wellesley Invitational Tournament over Memorial Day weekend.
Legion Tourney at Carter
Lebanon
The 18-hole tournament pits five-member teams against each other in a best-ball scramble starting at noon (check-in: 11 a.m.) Benefits from the tournament go to the scholarship fund as well as the Post 22 American Legion baseball program that Broughton founded. The cost is $125 per person, with a maximum of 16 teams. Hole sponsorships are also available for $75.
