Lebanon, N.H. — Sheila S. Conrad, 92, of Norwich, passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017. She was born in Morrisville, Vt. to the late Charles W. & Vera (Gilbert) Silloway. She attended schools in in both Morrisville & Cookville, Vt. and graduated from Bradford Academy, class of 1942. After graduation, she began nursing training at MHMH and was married to Franklyn Conrad on Jan. 22, 1945. She lived in Hanover, Lyme, Wilder, Hanover Center, later Lebanon and then Sharon. She belonged to the grange in Norwich, Upper Valley Community Grange, Eastern Star #82, Forest Unity Order of Eastern Star, Sharon Congregational Church. She enjoyed raising her family and providing for them, enjoyed camping and wintered in Florida for 19 years.

She is survived by her seven children, Kenneth Conrad (Susan) of Lebanon, Bonnie Bowie (Donald) of N.C., David Conrad (Joan) of Lebanon, Timothy Conrad (Theresa) of Cornish, N.H., Robert Conrad (Kathie) of McCammon, Idaho, Michael Conrad (Sally) of Orange, N.H. and Marcia Stone (Tracy) of Croydon, N.H.; a half-sister, Deanna Carter of Colo. and a half-brother, William Dwight Silloway of Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by husband, Franklyn, an infant son, infant grandson and great-granddaughter, two sisters, Helen Aseltine and Joan Brink; and her husband Carl.

Family and friends are invite to Shelia’s memorial service at the First Congregational Church of Sharon, Vt. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 11a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Michael Hall. Burial will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Sharon.
