Lebanon — Voters in Lebanon approved all three zoning amendments on the city ballot on Tuesday.

The votes allow community solar projects and contractor’s yards in some city neighborhoods. Residents also codified rules streamlining Lebanon’s subdivision regulations.

Contractor’s yards now will be allowed in Lebanon’s three rural lands districts after a 726-367 vote. Contractors can only apply for properties larger than an acre and must receive a special exception from the Zoning Board.

An amendment paving the way for community solar projects passed with a 944-152 vote. The regulation applies to off-site solar in residential and rural district that has the ability to power multiple homes or businesses.

A change to the city’s subdivision regulations also passed, 901-151, on Tuesday. The changes were largely enacted by the City Council earlier this year, and streamline subdivision rules.
