Woodstock — St. James Episcopal Church will serve as a partner site for a national theological conference on water justice.

The event, sponsored by Trinity Institute in New York City, is set for March 22-24. The conference will be held at Trinity Church in Manhattan and webcast across the world. Speakers will include former U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, as well as other activists, scholars and authors.

The conference will provide guidance for churches and individuals “wishing to take unified, faith-based action on the front lines of the water justice movement,” according to a news release from the Woodstock church. Onsite reflection groups at St. James will help participants “further explore the issue and what they can do about it.”
