West Fairlee — Voters approved a $626,864 budget in ballot voting on Tuesday.

The $10,000 increase over the past year was largely attributable to cost overruns associated with replacing the Lake Fairlee Dam.

There were no contested elections.

Beverly Jo Ash won a three-year seat on the Selectboard, and Alfred Pfeiffer won a two-year seat.

The town clerk said 102 voters participated in ballot voting.
