Weitzman finished fourth in the boys freestyle with a time of 9 minutes, 49.2 seconds. Johnstone was sixth in the boys classic in 11:22.2 and took eighth in freestyle in 10:07.7. Jacob Willeman added added an eighth-place finish in 11:47.7 in the classic and was 11th in freestyle. Lasse Bisp finished 20th in classic for the Lebanon boys, while teammate Nathan Magari was 23rd in freestyle.
Cecilia Webber led the Lebanon girls to a third-place finish, taking 10th in freestyle in 11:55.5 and 14th in classic in 14:52.9. Maria Goodwin was 12th in freestyle (12:14.3) and 15th in classic (14:53.4). The Raiders also had Brianna Hibner in 20th in freestyle and 23rd in classic. Hannah Falcone took 19th in classic for the Raiders, and Allison Carl was 23rd in freestyle.
The Hanover boys and girls both finished fourth as a team. Glen Passow was sixth in the boys freestyle in 9:51.2 and was 10th in classic (11:57.3). Arturo Johnson took ninth in classic in 11:48.9 and ninth in freestyle with a time of 10:08.7. Daniel Bandler was 15th in classic and 19th in freestyle for the Marauders. Stefan Cole took 17th in freestyle and 24th in classic.
Megan Smith finished sixth in the freestyle for Hanover in 11:33.8. Margot Davis was 21st in both the classic and freestyle. Shannon Walsh took 26th in freestyle and 32nd in classic. Leila Trummel finished 31st in classic and Maeve Goodrich took 28th in freestyle.

Woodstock at Vermont Championship

Kyle Weirether led the Wasps in the boys giant slalom, finishing eighth overall with a combined time of 57.86 seconds. Hartley Walker-Money was 17th in 59.14 followed by John Holding in 20th (59.71) and Erik Weiss in 25th (1:00.32). Elliot Shoemaker was 31st and Peter Borden finished 35th.
Anna Dieffenbach finished seventh overall in the girls giant slalom, clocking in with a combined time of 1:00.07. Teammate Grace Vollers finished 11th in 1:00.85. Alice Spurber was 35th, Morgan Biele was 42nd, Lily Walker-Money was 44th and Chloe Noble finished 46th.
Rebecca Provost of CVU won the girls individual state title in 58.40 seconds. Rutland’s Austin Roussel won the boys title in 56.60 seconds.
Weirether, Dieffenbach and Vollers all qualified for the Eastern High School Championships with their finishes. The trio will compete at the EHS from Friday through Sunday at Attitash Mountain Resort in Bartlett, N.H.

Windsor
Ashleay Wilcox and Olivia Rockwood combined for 19 points in the first quarter to help Windsor to a 25-4 lead. Wilcox finished with 15 points and Rockwood had 11. Angelina Bigwood also had 11 points. Erica Gray added nine points.
“We came out really solid in the first (quarter),” Windsor coach Bruce Mackay said. “It’s a good overall win. We did what we had to do early and enjoyed the rest of the game.”
The Yellowjackets (18-3) will host No. 8 seed Enosburg on Friday night in the quarterfinals.
U-32 45, Hartford 28
East Montpelier, Vt.
Kyra Wood (10 points) and Megan Bushway (nine points) led Hartford. Wood was 6-for-7 from the free throw line. The Canes finished with an overall record of 8-13.
Arlington 42Whitcomb-Rochester 29
Manchester, Vt.
Whitchester was within three points, trailing 21-18, at halftime before the Eagles went on an 11-0 run in the third quarter to pull away. Hayley Mears led Whitchester with 10 points.
The Mountaineers are a young team and will graduate just two players, Laura Vaillaincourt and Brianna Hillier.
Lyndon 60, Woodstock 30
Lyndon Center, Vt.
Lyndon drained seven 3-pointers and built a 33-14 lead at halftime. Mariah Luce (14 points) and Madison Schultz (12 points) countered with six from beyond the arc for the Wasps.
“They’re obviously a good team as the two-seed. They executed well and defended well,” Wasps coach Timmy MacDonnell said. “It’s disappointing and sad that our season is over. But it was a solid season for us and we’re hoping to build with this group from here.”
Woodstock graduates Luce, Schultz and Loretta Blakeney.
Windsor’s Hingston Honored
Montpelier
Hingston was the athletic directory at Windsor for 16 years and dean of students for an additional two years. He was named Vermont athletic director of the year three times and won the NIAAA Award of Merit twice. Hingston is also a past president of the Vermont State Athletic Directors Association and the Marble Valley League. Hingston’s career at Windsor began in 1983 as a coach for middle school basketball, baseball and football and at various times was the varsity baseball and football coach for the Yellowjackets.
The Hall of Fame was organized in 2001 and recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves through service and achievement in VPA sanctioned athletics.
Dartmouth Forward Honored
Hanover
Boudreaux, a 6-8 forward, led the Ivy League in rebounding (9.5 rpg) and was second in scoring (17.5 ppg), both for the second straight season. He also recorded 15 double-doubles, the most by a Big Green player in at least 50 years and three times more than any other Ivy Leaguer this season.
He also topped 20 points on nine occasions, with a season high of 27 twice.
